MY STORY

How it all began

I’m Brogan, the daughter of a badass female hairdresser turned barber and barber shop owner.

I’ve been there every step of the way from mum opening her first barbershop making cups of tea and coffee with a miserable teenage resting bitch face to mum opening her most recent venture. I gave mum her digital presence, branding and marketing campaigns and saw her shops succeed as a result. I’ve followed her from hair and beauty shows to speaking as a Master Barber at barbering expos. I’ve even followed her all the way to Rotterdam to the infamous Schorem Barber Academy ‘The Old School’.

I know what you’re thinking… so why aren’t you following in her footsteps? Well, I’m a bit of a rebel and I wanted to carve my own path. But the amount of passion mum has is infectious and I've realised I share it. My background is in graphic design with a healthy mixing ratio of marketing thrown in there. So now, having carved my own path I can bring a fresh perspective to the industry I grew up with (without the resting bitch face this time!)

Getting to know you

Free Consultation

This is where I get to know all about you and what support looks like for you. We will go over current marketing, ideal clients and what your goals are.

Recommendations

After getting to know you, I go away and put together some ideas for what I think would work for your needs, this could be marketing, design or both.

Decisions

After you receive my recommendations you decide whether we would be a good fit to work together. If not, no harm done. If so, welcome to Cut Above.

Plans

If you decide we're a good fit for each other, I will work with you to decide on how we can work together, how often and for how long depending on your goals.

Strategy

Once agreed, I will draw up a strategy document which outlines your goals + how I will help you get there. For example, your goal could be 10 new clients in the next 2 months.

Get on with it

Now it's time for the fun bit, seeing everything in action. I implement everything we've agreed in the strategy and watch the results reveal themselves, tweaking as necessary.
